Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE, bringing One UI 9, new Galaxy AI features, a larger battery and seven years of software support to its Fan Edition lineup.
Samsung says the new model is the first phone in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9, alongside new Galaxy AI features, camera upgrades and a larger battery.
The phone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and uses Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor. It comes with 8GB of memory and a choice of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Camera and AI features move down the lineup
On the back is a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel camera sits on the front.
Samsung has also brought across features including My FanCam, which can track and keep a selected person centered while recording video, and Horizontal Lock for its Super Steady video mode. Photo Assist remains available for AI-assisted image editing.
One UI 9 adds updated AI tools including a more customizable Now Brief, expanded Now Nudge support and an updated version of Circle to Search that can identify multiple items within the same image.
Battery capacity has increased to 4,900mAh, with support for 45W wired charging. Samsung says the phone can reach around 69% charge in 30 minutes using a compatible 45W adapter, which is sold separately.
The longer-term commitment may be just as important as the hardware.
Samsung says the Galaxy S26 FE will receive seven generations of operating-system upgrades and seven years of security updates from its global launch.
It will be offered in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio, although colors and storage options may vary by market. Learn more about the S26 FE on the official website.
