Meta has started rolling out Pocket, its new AI-powered social app, to users in the U.S., as reported by Business Insider.
Pocket lets users create interactive content, including small games, animations, and other experiences, using simple text prompts instead of traditional coding. Users can also browse, share, and remix creations made by others.
The app had previously launched on a limited basis in Brazil. TechCrunch reported in July that Pocket appeared quietly on Apple’s App Store and Google Play without a formal announcement from Meta.
Pocket is powered by Muse Spark, an AI model developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs. Its focus on interactive, AI-generated creations gives the company another way to test how people may use generative AI for entertainment and social sharing.
Pocket remains an early experiment, but its expansion gives Meta a much larger audience to see whether AI-generated interactive content can become a meaningful part of social media.
