Samsung Introduces Freestyle Plus Portable AI Projector Ahead Of CES 2026

Samsung has just announced a new portable projector, the Freestyle Plus, designed to bring smarter visuals and flexible entertainment to everyday spaces. The reveal comes just before CES 2026, the world’s largest annual consumer technology showcase held in Las Vegas, where companies debut upcoming innovations and products.

The Freestyle Plus is built around artificial intelligence features that automatically adjust visuals to match different rooms, angles, and surfaces. Its AI OptiScreen system helps correct distortion, maintain focus while the device moves, and adapt the image to uneven or colored walls. This allows users to simply place the projector, point it toward a surface, and start watching without complicated setup.

Samsung has also improved brightness to 430 ISO Lumens, making the image clearer in regular living environments compared to the previous model. The compact cylindrical design remains portable and supports 180-degree rotation, allowing projection on walls, ceilings, or floors depending on how users want to watch.

Beyond video, the device acts as a self-contained entertainment unit. It supports Samsung TV Plus, major streaming partners, Samsung Gaming Hub, and includes a built-in 360-degree speaker for immersive sound. Users can also pair it with compatible Samsung soundbars using Q-Symphony for a richer audio experience.

Samsung plans to showcase The Freestyle Plus at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, followed by a global rollout later in the year.
