Samsung Electronics is expanding Galaxy AI into a broader multi-agent ecosystem across its Galaxy devices
As AI becomes more deeply embedded into daily life, users are increasingly relying on multiple AI tools for different tasks. Samsung’s latest update reflects this shift by allowing Galaxy AI to work with multiple integrated agents, giving users more freedom to choose how AI supports their routines.
Rather than functioning as a single assistant within individual apps, Galaxy AI operates at the system level across the Galaxy operating system. This allows it to understand context, reduce repeated commands, and assist users without requiring constant app switching. The result is a more natural and continuous experience where AI works quietly in the background.
Samsung positions Galaxy AI as a unifying layer that connects different AI services into one cohesive experience. By embedding intelligence directly into the device framework, Galaxy AI can support multi-step actions across apps while maintaining consistency and ease of use.
Confirmed also is Perplexity’s addition as an additional AI agent on upcoming flagship Galaxy devices. Users will be able to access Perplexity through voice activation or quick hardware controls, making contextual assistance readily available when needed.
Perplexity will integrate with several core Samsung applications, including Notes, Calendar, Reminder, Gallery, and Clock, along with selected third-party apps. This integration enables smoother workflows by allowing users to move between tasks without manually managing each step.
The company also noted that certain Galaxy AI features may require a Samsung account and that availability can vary depending on region, device model, software version, and carrier. As with most AI-driven tools, outputs are not guaranteed to be fully accurate and should be used responsibly.
Additional details about supported devices and future Galaxy AI experiences will be shared in the coming months as the ecosystem continues to expand.
By working with trusted partners and supporting multiple AI agents, the company aims to avoid locking users into a single experience while maintaining a unified interface across devices.
