Orange Group Impacted by Cybersecurity Incident

Orange Group, a major telecommunications provider, has reported recently detected suspicious activity targeting one of its information systems. As soon as the threat was detected, the company’s dedicated teams, working closely with Orange Cyberdefense, moved swiftly to contain the situation and protect its services.

The attack led to some temporary disruptions, mainly affecting certain management services and platforms used by Business customers, as well as a few Consumer services—mostly in France. The Orange team immediately took action to isolate the affected systems, aiming to minimize the impact and keep everyone safe.

They’ve shared that there hasn’t been evidence that any customer or internal data has been stolen or compromised, and are closely monitoring the situation. Most of the main services also have been or are expected to be fully restored, and they;re assisting those impacted and ensuring ongoing security.
