Amazon Autos has partnered with Ford to offer certified pre-owned vehicles through its platform, allowing customers to browse, finance, and purchase Ford Blue Advantage vehicles entirely online. The program launches today in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas with plans for broader expansion.
Customers can shop participating dealer inventories within a 75-mile radius, completing most paperwork digitally before scheduling pickup at local dealerships. All vehicles come with Ford Blue Advantage certification and a 14-day or 1,000 mile money-back guarantee.
While Amazon facilitates the online transaction and financing options through multiple banks including Ford Credit, the customer relationship remains with the local participating dealership. Dealers set pricing, handle vehicle pickup, and manage all future service needs.
Over 160 dealers have expressed interest in the program, with around 20 currently active or launching soon.
Amazon has not previously offered used vehicle sales at this scale, making it a significant expansion in automotive retail.
