Adobe has announced a a new mobile app designed to revolutionize creative ideation on the go. Now available for iOS and Android, the Adobe Firefly app offers creators a seamless, all-in-one destination for AI-assisted content generation, editing, and collaboration—anywhere, anytime.
The Firefly mobile app extends Adobe’s AI-driven creativity features, allowing users to generate images and videos directly from their smartphones. Whether it’s transforming simple prompts into detailed visuals, editing assets with AI-powered tools, or exploring new ideas on the fly, Firefly puts professional-grade creative tools literally in your pocket.
Content created within the app also syncs effortlessly with the Creative Cloud ecosystem for a smooth transition from mobile ideation to desktop production—perfect for creatives who need to move quickly from concept to final output.
Alongside the mobile app they’ve also introduced Firefly Boards, which reimagines how creative teams brainstorm and iterate on ideas. This AI-first moodboarding platform now supports video, enabling teams to remix existing footage or generate new clips using advanced AI models. It’s a powerful way to visualize concepts, experiment with different media, and collaborate in real-time, no matter where team members are located. Firefly’s AI models have already helped generate over 24 billion assets worldwide.
Both are included in Adobe’s Creative Cloud Pro plans. And the platform’s transparency features, including automatic Content Credentials, ensure creators retain control and confidence over their AI-generated work, clearly indicating which models were used and safeguarding creative rights.

The new mobile app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for smartphones. Firefly Boards is accessible in beta via the web.
